01 — The concept

Three monuments. One adventure.

MONUMENTAL is an epic adventure that brings together the thrill of off-road riding and Belgium’s rich cycling heritage. This self-supported bikepacking experience challenges riders to conquer legendary climbs, traverse iconic cobblestone roads, and explore scenic gravel trails through the heart of Belgium.

Starting and finishing at Camping De Kluis in Oud-Heverlee, the route winds through historic landmarks like the Lion’s Mound, the Sonian Forest, the cobbled climbs of De Ronde van Vlaanderen and the many hills from Liège–Bastogne–Liège. For the third edition, we also offer a quick spin around the Hell of the North (Roubaix) area.

All three Classic Races are linked via as much off-road tracks as possible. Whether tackling the full MONUMENTAL Grand Tour, Ardennais Tour, Pavé Tour or the shorter Flandrien Tour, you will discover the grit, beauty, and spirit of Belgian cycling culture. This is a journey for the bold — a celebration of endurance, nature, and the indomitable Flandrien spirit.
